Abstract Still Life

To me, the ABSTRACT still life photo is the most difficult to DO RIGHT.

Take a look at TOTKU's work.

http://www.totku.com/3.html

And write 3 sentences about WHERE YOU COULD GO here on campus to get a good abstract photograph.

OR discuss WHY someone would be attracted to THIS type of photography instead of photographing people or RECOGNIZABLE things...

id say a locker room, or the hallway. anywhere with lockers, cause nothing moves without being touched. there are other places too.

you could go to any wall or the lockers because everything is already set up for you just need to find it.

Somewhere you could go on this campus to take some of these pictures would be outside. Of course, you would have to take the pictures in a still, calm place though, where nothing is moving. There are definitely a lot of other places around the campus that would be great for this, too.

To get a good abstract photo I would probably go around the outside of the building. Someone would probably be attracted to this type of photography , because it's unique and you would have to try and get people to pose a certain way. I think that this method is more broad than some of the other types of photography.

I think that maybe a hallway or in some of the classrooms would be good places. If it's just right, there could be some good photos outside in the courtyards. Some people might like this stuff better than recognizable things because it makes them stop and think more about what is going on in the photo.

You could go out side to where a set of stairs are. Get a good angle and your shot could be abstract still life. Finding a little pop of color wouldn't hurt either.

The best place on campus to get an abstract photograph is subject to opinion, but, I would venture to child development room. The room in itself is a very far out place. Further, Mr. W is a bro, and he has some of the most abstract jokes I've ever encountered. T.Eliason

I would think that the F hallway would be a good place to take abstract photos. I think that people would like this more then something recognizable because it leaves most of the picture up to your imagination.

The locker room might be one good place. You could also go to a set of stairs. You could go and take a picture of the baseball fields.

I think to get a good abstract photo here on campus you need to walk around. You will find something that stands out to you and when you do take shots from all different angles. That seems like the best way to find a good still life.

To get a good abstract photo here would be to go outside. People would be attracted to this type of photography because its different and there isnt a point to it. Another place on campus would be the art rooms.

I think people would rather do this than take pictures of other people for a lot of reasons. For one people can be pain and may care too much about the photo. You may think it is good but they don't so you have to take another one so the person you are taking a picture of can be satisfied. If you do this, the only person who needs to like it is your self.

I think people might be attracted to this type of photography more because its more creative, and its deeper. older adults would like this kind more than say a jumping cat because its calm and relaxing. I personally dont get it.

I can't really think of that many here on this campus. But you could go down to the track, or to a set of stone stairs. You could also do outside where the main enterance is.

There could be many reasons why someone would be attracted to this type of photography instead of recognizable things. I think a reason would be that these types of pictures can be more interesting to people than things they've probably seen tons of times in their life. Also with abstract pictures like these people can make up for themselves what they think the picture is and what it stands for.

I could probably go the softball field since there are many different shaped items there. also, i could go to mr. Leong's office because he has weird things in his room. I most likely would go to the gym though.

I think abstract photography is a lot cooler than just photographing people. You can just find random things and make it a lot better than just taking a picture of a person. I would definitely choose abstract over a picture of a person.

i would do this instead of people because its less awkward.
and i like to take pictures of nature things and not people.
this would fit me because nature is more easy for me then taking pictures of people.
and i think people like to do nature better than taking pictures of humans.

Outside in the fields. The walls of the building or brick. You could look anywhere and could probably make something abstract.

I think a good place to go would be outside the school. I think someone would be attracted to this type of photography because it allows someone to look at it in a different and more artistic way. Something could be photographed in a few different ways in an attempt to make the focus of the photo different in each shot.
