Summer In December

So... the problem is...

We have seen soooooooooooo many nature photographs, it is really hard to capture a unique image that makes someone take notice.

Clark Little does this by photographing a natural phenomenon we've all seen before- but he does it in a cool way.

Check out his 23 pics at:
http://www.treehugger.com/galleries/2009/03/the-most-beautiful-waves-ever.php?page=1

What are some problems he might have with his method?

How could he use this idea to photograph some other aspect of nature?

How could YOU use this idea to photograph something (other than waves)???

What are some ways could he make money off of these pictures???
Who would buy them?

these wave photos really capture natures intensity. It's hard to not appreciate the beauty of curling wave when the sun is blasting through it. I've no idea how he gets these photo's but, right on. T.ELiason

One of the problems he might have with this method is that, though it is very cool, he might ruin or go through a bunch of cameras because the water might wreck them. He could also use this method to photograph forests or maybe sand dunes or sandstorms. I could use this in my sky photograph if the clouds are just right.

Some problems would be ruining your camera or getting hurt. he could sell them to businesses and if I had the money I would buy some of his photos

I like the pictures but after a while they all start to look the same. You could use this method to mabey take a picture of a avalanche or other things. I think that his main customers are surfers or people live by the beach.

This is a really sick picture. This guy could make some serious money of of these by taking pics of surfers and what not. he could photograph leaves being blown like this.

These are the coolest pictures i have seen this tri. These are phenomenal pictures. To go out there in the middle of the ocean to take these is a huge talent. He works hard for these pictures.

He might have some problems with this method if he doesn't have good timing. He could use this aspect with a waterfall or something of that nature. I could pour something in front of the camera to make it look good for effect.

Some problems with this method is you have to be perfect and it might take some time. You can use the waves to frame a picture of the sun or something else through the wave. Some ways to make money of these pictures is to sell them to people that have beach houses or seafood restaurants. I'm pretty sure they would buy them.

These pictures are really cool, and pretty intense. Some ways he could use this ides to photograph something other than waves is he could maybe crouch down in like, bushes and take pictures of what crawls and flies outside the bushes. I think that ocean people (people who love the ocean) would buy this kind of work, but also people who just love having good art work in their house.

The only problem would be how hard taking a good picture like that is. He could make a lot of money because all of his pictures are hard to take like that. You don't see pictures of this stuff taken like it is from other nature photographers.

I think that the wave photos are all different in there own way. you could use the idea to take pictures of different trees. I think people who like waves and things like that would buy them.

Some problems he could have would be getting the camera wet and trying to make the portrait perfect... I could use his methods while photographing clouds. He can put pictures like these on postcards or enlarge them and frame them to make money... I would buy his work and i'm sure others would too.

One thing that is wrong with this method is that he might waste too much cameras cause the water will break them. He could picture forests and other nature with that method.

I think these are some of the coolest pictures i have ever seen. I think one of the dangers would be loding your camera. They don't float so you have to hang on. I think whoever took these could just put them up for sale and have no trouble selling them. Art is less interesting now days, but these pictures are cool no matter who you are.

i think this is very cool taking pictures oF WAVES. idk if people would pay to get pictures of waves maybe only surfers but i don't think i would pay for a picture of a big wave.

A problem he could have would be the timing. Desert could be another aspect of nature. I could use this picture for a sun light caption.

These photos are breath taking. The intensity and raw beauty is so unique. He should sell some of these photos because I would buy them.

These photos really capture nature but they are all like the same. He could sell these and i am sure that people that love to surf of love the beach would buy them. You could use this idea to take photos of like trees because they always hang down like that.

Some problems that he could have would be possible injury due to waves crashing on top of him, or the camera getting water in it. I think he could make a lot of money selling his pictures to surfers because they would like the pictures. Surfers also make a lot of money (if they're REALLY good) so they would be willing to buy his pictures.

I don't know how he could use this idea to photograph some other aspect of nature.I don't know how I could use this idea to photograph something and if I did I wouldn't tell you. I would show you.

You could get eaten by a fish, or drop your camera. He could take pictures of forest, and spread news about deforestation. Maybe I could do rivers, or sunset or sunrises. You could sell them at your own booth thing like at Saturday market.I would buy them.

I think that these wave photos are stunningly beautiful. His idea, and his pictures, are unique and one of a kind. Although his method of standing in the ocean is completely stupid and life threatening, the end product of seeing those waves composed in photos is so worth it.

I think think this is an amazing thing. I love waves and I have always wanted to go surfing. One problem that he could have is the background of the picture through the wave could be blurry because he is moving. I think he could making money selling them in places where people surf a lot and I would buy them because I think they look sick!

It would be really hard to capture images in the background through the waves. He could frame with nature to capture people or animals. I would use this idea to capture sunsets within tree branches. There are a lot of people who love the ocean and the beach. These people would probably buy them. Or people with themed rooms in their house.

I think these pictures are really cool, but some problems with taking them could be like breaking your camera, falling while trying to take the picture, or getting eaten by sharks. You could use this idea to photograph things like sand storms. You could sell these pictures to surfers or people that really like surfing and the ocean.

Their is a few problems that could go wrong with taking pictures like he did and those are, camera getting wet, and how hard it was to take such a good picture. You could use this idea for taking picture of trees. he can sale them to stores and make a lot of money off of them because you barely see photographs of waves this good.
